Jaylen Shin

Project Manager

Jaylen supports Consensus clients with developing and executing strategic communications programs in both the private and public sector. Her primary focus is client service and owned media content for communications campaigns for real estate development, infrastructure, construction, and planning initiatives. She works with clients and stakeholders to address emerging and immediate issues and often serves as a community liaison on high-profile projects.

Prior to joining Consensus, Jaylen interned for Los Angeles City Council’s District 12 and the City of Sacramento’s Human Resources & Benefits Office. While working for the City of Sacramento, her department nominated her for the 2019-200 UC Davis Community Service Award, which she received after graduating. Because of her enjoyable experience working with local government, Jaylen has continued to devote her time to public service and serving her community. A Los Angeles native, Jaylen grew up and currently lives in the San Fernando Valley. Jaylen earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Sustainable Environmental Design from the University of California, Davis.

Amy Nungaray

Assistant Account Manager

Amy is a dedicated communications practitioner, working in partnership with public and private sector clients to support community engagement and advocacy campaigns. She is highly skilled in driving stakeholder engagement and participation in public outreach and social media programs. She organizes outreach activations, community meetings and open houses, door-to-door canvassing programs, as well as mobilization campaigns. Amy is Hootsuite- certified, a leading platform for social media listening and engagement, providing analysis and insight to clients on a range of issues including housing, water, transportation, and mobility.

Prior to joining Consensus, Amy worked at a public relations agency specializing in the travel and hospitality industry where she implemented media relations, analytic research and campaign development. During her academic career, she was involved with the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) and created outreach campaigns for the student organization New Student Orientation (NSO). She also consulted with Denver-based Community Resource Center, dedicated to assisting non-profit and community groups. Additionally, Amy has been a dedicated volunteer for Northeast Valley Health Corporation and the Pasadena Humane Society.

Amy earned her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism with an emphasis in Public Relations and a minor in Communication from California State University, Northridge.

Anush Khatri

Associate, Media Research

Anush researches, monitors and compiles reports on media, public affairs and community issues to provide insights that inform strategic decision-making. He is responsible for issuing the most widely read daily newsletter distributed to the commercial real estate broker communities in Los Angeles, Orange County and San Diego on behalf of one of the largest commercial real estate firms in the nation.

Anush also is highly-skilled in identifying trends and community concerns, providing assessments for real estate developers evaluating land acquisitions and entitlement projects. He also supports background stakeholder research, writes newsletters and drafts public information materials.

Prior to Consensus, Anush served as an Intern in the Office of the Governor of New Jersey, a new media company and the legal arm of a professional services firm. While at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), he was copy chief and reporter for the award-winning news publication, the Daily Bruin. Anush also conducted original research on the politics of the Indian American community and Western media coverage of China. Outside of Consensus, Anush enjoys riding the emotional roller coaster of being a Philadelphia sports fan, reading about history and politics and continuing to discover new corners of Southern California.

Anush earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles.
