Jaylen Shin

Project Manager

Jaylen supports Consensus clients with developing and executing strategic communications programs in both the private and public sector. Her primary focus is client service and owned media content for communications campaigns for real estate development, infrastructure, construction, and planning initiatives. She works with clients and stakeholders to address emerging and immediate issues and often serves as a community liaison on high-profile projects.

Prior to joining Consensus, Jaylen interned for Los Angeles City Council’s District 12 and the City of Sacramento’s Human Resources & Benefits Office. While working for the City of Sacramento, her department nominated her for the 2019-200 UC Davis Community Service Award, which she received after graduating. Because of her enjoyable experience working with local government, Jaylen has continued to devote her time to public service and serving her community. A Los Angeles native, Jaylen grew up and currently lives in the San Fernando Valley. Jaylen earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Sustainable Environmental Design from the University of California, Davis.

Garen Mirzaian

Motion Graphics/Animator

As a member of Consensus Creative, Garen brings to life static imagery, infographics, project identities, and design renderings for real estate development projects and digital content for public outreach programs. His works spans award winning engagement campaigns including “Help House LA Vets” for the West Los Angeles Veterans Administration, “I Heart Burbank” for the redevelopment of Burbank Town Center, and several animated videos for active transportation programs initiated by the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transit Authority (LACMTA). Garen’s work is critical to developing visually compelling content that builds excitement and buzz around lifestyle projects, place marketing and forward-thinking urban planning solutions. He has written and directed an award-winning short film, “Quitter,” and takes on projects as cinematographer and director of photography.

Garen earned a Director’s Certificate from UCLA Extension. He is currently working on his thesis for California State University Los Angeles’ MFA Film program, and holds a Bachelor’s in Biology from UCSB. He is fluent in Armenian.
