Joshua Bay

Joshua is an ambitious public relations practitioner, executing campaigns for a diverse range of clients in the private and public sector. His expertise lies in community outreach, digital strategy and social media campaigns. Joshua serves in a multifaceted capacity –– gathering data analytics, crafting outreach reports, developing strategy, producing multimedia, and coordinating logistics for and executing community events.

Prior to joining Consensus, Joshua held positions in-house and at agencies across Los Angeles, working at the intersection of content creation and media planning. He has also been a staff reporter for various community publications, gaining high praise from the Society of Professional Journalists for his piece regarding local farmers’ markets and environmental advocacy.

He was a prolific, award-winning student leader at the University of La Verne. Heavily involved in the Undergraduate Student Government, Joshua ended his 3 years of service as the Executive Vice President. Joshua oversaw and appointed student representatives to all university-wide committees and constituencies. In addition, he assisted the student government president with implementation of policies, projects and programs.

Joshua continued his work as the Clubs and Organizations Coordinator for the Office of Student Life, managing over 75 clubs and organizations. He programmed club fairs, educational speaker engagements and initiated the first Adobe Creative Cloud workshop series. His efforts earned him the Landis Leadership Scholarship, an award for the top student leaders that maintain high leadership, service and academic excellence. Additionally, Joshua was selected as the Student Employee of the Year for the 2018-2019 academic year.

Joshua earned his Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations from the University of La Verne.
